All-in-One vs Split Solar Street Lights

Solar street lights come in two layouts: all-in-one, where the panel, battery, lamp and controller are in a single housing, and split, where the panel and the lamp are separate parts. The AN-SLZ series is the all-in-one range on this site, with six published models. The split series names on this site are SSL-T, AN-SLX, SSL-I and AN-SL, described at series level without a complete specification table.

All-in-one suits sites where installation speed and simplicity matter: one unit, one pole, no separate wiring between parts. The panel angle is fixed by the unit's mounting, so the site must suit that angle. Split suits sites where the panel and the lamp need different aims, for example where the best sun position is not the best lamp position, or where a larger panel than an integrated housing can carry is wanted. The trade-off is more parts, more wiring and a longer installation.

Maintenance also differs. An all-in-one unit with a detachable battery box, as described for the AN-SLZ2 series, can be serviced without taking the whole lamp down. A split system lets the panel or the lamp be replaced independently. Neither layout is better in general: the right choice depends on the site, the shading, the pole and the maintenance access. Buyers should compare the published AN-SLZ model rows with the split series specifications requested in the inquiry, rather than choosing a layout from a general claim.
